Where it comes from
Raw garlic is grown mainly in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat. The main harvest arrives from February to April, and dehydration units around Mahuva and Gondal in Gujarat process it into powder, granules and flakes for most of the year. Being in Ahmedabad lets us visit these units and inspect goods before loading.
