This policy explains how Karishye Trade ("we", "us") handles personal information you share with us through this website, by WhatsApp, by email or by phone. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, company, job role, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country and city.
- Business details: product requirements, specifications, quantities, prices, capacity, certifications and registration numbers such as GSTIN.
- Messages you send us and our replies.
- Basic technical data our hosting provider records when you visit, such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, used to keep the site secure and working.
We do not ask for payment card details on this website, and we do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes.
- To find, contact and check suppliers or buyers for your requirement.
- To manage orders, inspections, shipments and any claims.
- To meet legal, tax and export obligations in India.
- To send you occasional updates about products relevant to you. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
We share product specifications with suppliers to get quotes. We share your company name and contact details with a supplier, or a supplier's details with a buyer, only when you agree to an introduction or an order. We also share information with service providers who help us run the business, such as freight forwarders, customs brokers, inspection agencies, email and hosting providers, and with government authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
Transfers outside India
Because we connect buyers and suppliers in different countries, your information may be sent to and stored in other countries, including the buyer's or supplier's country and the countries where our email or hosting providers operate.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for up to three years after our last contact, and order and shipment records for as long as Indian tax and foreign trade law requires (typically eight years). After that we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, update or delete your personal information, to withdraw your consent, or to stop sending you updates. Email info@karishye.in and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including access controls and encrypted connections to this website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
WhatsApp and email
When you contact us by WhatsApp or email, those services also process your messages under their own privacy policies.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
